HOBBIES- WHAT YOU LIKE

Living in the countryside from a children, i, now, get used to the quiet and the peace there. When i go to HCM city to study in university, where everyone and everything is always noisy and hasty, i feel that i miss and love the hometown feeling much more than ever (CPL). That's the reason- i think- i've a special hobby: to go to look for the quiet and the peace.
In my hometown, there is very peaceful. Since i was a child, i usually went to the rice paddies, where is very spacious and airy, with my parents to work(CPL). However, i was the youngest, so i worked less than played(CPO). I went around with other children in my village. We picked up fruit, grilled fishes and birds which we collected and played some traditional games(CPL). A little grown up, i liked watching green trees and collecting vegetable which my parents had grown before(CPL). There were two ways to go to my secondary school. One way was short but many vehicles, and the other one was long but less vehicles and many shades(CPO). We always rode on the second way . It was safe because we just rode through the rice paddies and bamboo forest(CPL). Sometimes, my sister and i rode on the village road to enjoy the feeling "flying with the wind", the faint aroma of ripening rice. That was really a great feeling.
Now, when i am living alone in a crowded and modern city, i can't do those things(CPL). Although i'm trying to adjusting my life style, i'm still at fault(CPL). After a day at university, i come back my renting room, lie down, close my eyes(not sleep), and think nothing, or i come back to my hometown at the weekend(CPO). This is the way help me balance. However, this isn't the problem. I find that there are somewhere spacious and quiet, take the cases of my university, the green grass areas along the Hanoi highway. I have a best friend who also study in my university(CPL).We often go out for dinner and sit there for a while. It help us feel better and continue our studying.
You can have many other hobbies.May be you think mine sound strange, useless, and it just waste time(CPO). But in the other hand, i like it, and i find it is interesting and neccesary for my health(CPO). It make me light and get rid of my stresses in studying. You work hard, you need relax, and it is an effect way for relaxing(CPO).
I have just lived here for a few monthes so i don't know many other good things here(CPL). I properly have other hobbbies then, but i think i still like and maintain my hobby now(CPO).

MY CLASS IN UNIVERSITY

When you learn in a university, you have to learn by yourself much more than when you was in high school. There are too many students in a class, and the lecturer can't observe everyone. Some older students said that they learned in a class with over 100 students. They even don't know all of their name althought they are in the last year. However, i think there is an exception with my class.

Now i'm learning at the Faculty of Foreign Language of University of Technical Education which is one of the largest and oldest tradition university in the South. My university mainly train in technology, so there are more male students than female students. But in my faculty, take the case of my class, there are more girl than boy. There are only 21 students so that we can learn best. The facility is goob. We usually learn in small class with many chairs and no table. It's convenient for moving or working in pair or group which we do everyday. Moreover, we have a LCD TV in classroom. We use it to present lessons by Powerpoint. It makes our lessons be more attractive.

The most important thing when you learn foreign language is to practise, so in every class, we speak more than write. Usually, lecturers give us some projects, and we have work in group to prepare for it which we rarely do in high school.In class hour, we talk,discuss, answer the questions and, sometimes, have a play. It 's very enjoyable. Lecturers always make good condition for everyone showing their qualities. They also concern student's development. I'm really pleased about that.

My classmates all come from many provinces and cities, North and South. Despite meeting many strange people and living away from home, they're all very friendly and funny. We've just learned together for over 2 months, but we have closed relationship. We spend much time together doing teamwork, so we have much time to understand. We often chat discuss the lessons before class. I find that these are good points of university life.

At the present, we are trying our best to do well the first semester exam. Moreover, we can graduate university in 4 years which is the biggest goal. There may be many difficulties, but with our efforts, i believe we can do.
