MY FAMILY

Have you ever wondered if what a family is and how a happy family is? To me, I have thought much about that, but I still don't have the answer. However, I can self-confidently speak that I have a family and my family is happy.

Living in a big family in a village, with parents and six children, we don't have good living condition. As many other people in village, my parents are kind-hearted farmers. They have to work hard all day on rice paddies to support for my whole family. That is really a difficult thing. Understanding our parents' hard, we don't ask for many things except for our studying. My sisters help parents do housework, take care of younger members, help me and my brother do homework. I remember the days we walked to school together, played games in the yard in front of our house and quarreled, sometimes, which made our parents scolded at us. Of course, each member has different characters so it is certainty. But the importance is that we were soon joyful again. The time we spend together most is in dinner. We talk about many things and share our emotion with the others. We have a very closed-knit relationship. Although our parents don't spend much time at home as well as show their emotion to us, we all know they love and take pride in us very much. However, sometimes they are very strict. They often punish us when we had a mistake. As our parents usually said that bringing up us was their biggest desire and they always want us to try to learn to have a good future. This is the most valuable present we can give our parents.

Now, when we grow up, all of that became nice unforgettable memories. My four elder sisters have their own jobs, my elder brother and I are studying at university. We still seem children with our parents. They always care for us. whenever I go away, I miss my family very much. East or West, there is no place like home because there I have a family.
